Nikelle Turns 3!!!

My little Princess is 3 today!

Today Nik and I stayed home, like we have the other years, and celebrated Nikelle's birthday. She was excited and knew that her birthday has been coming now for about 4 months (right after Anni's, her cousin). To start things off this morning she got to open a present that was some polly pockets. She absolutly loved them. We then went to the baby doctor for our appointment, but that is another post. We then took her to Target to get her big present. she wanted a Tangled doll with dressups. Then we took her to MickyDonalds. After her special lunch we took her to the treehouse Museam. I have to say I was pretty impressed. Nikelle loved it. Nikelle took her tangled doll everywhere with her today. When we got home my friend called to go to the park. So, we went. I really do think it wore her out. She is now fast asleep in her dad's chair. (I will need to wake her up for a tub). I know this is common, but I can't believe she is 3 already. She has grown up so much and is starting to look like a little girl. Although she is so much fun, there are days that I do miss her being so much smaller.

Some special things about Nikelle is she loves to play dress-up. She has a ton of tutu's, shoes, makeup, jewlery, and now working on the princess dresses. She loves to eat Little Ceasars Pizza and McDonalds. Her favorite thing to drink is chocolate milk and apple juice. Her favorite fruit is apples.

I really love my little girl and she is super sweet. There are hard days, but for the most part she is a really sweet, kind girl. I can't wait for the many years to come and will always charish these special days.

Nelle wouldn't sit in the chair, so Nik did.

I hope Nelle enjoyed her special day. I know that we sure did! We love our Princess!

End of Summer

Today was the last official day of my summer. I've been going in a few hours each day this past week, just to get some things done. I'm sure going to miss Nikelle. The first day back to the babysitters was rough. She cried and chased me down. Poor Sarah had to hold her back while I said goodbye and left. I hate doing that. I know that it is better then sitting there and hoping she gets over it, but it's so hard.

Today I am also 9 weeks into being pregnant. I can honestly say things are getting better. I'm not as sick as I was a few weeks ago. I'm way nervous going back to school, just because I'm afraid of being sick. But, if things stay the way they have been, then I should be ok. I just keep telling myself: I will be ok, and things will go well. I just want to do a good job at my job and not let the kids down. My team mates are super awesome, so that is the plus side. I know that if I'm having a rough day they will be there to help me along. What can I say, the school year does go by pretty quickly. I know I can do it!

The Big News...with a sidenote!

The big news!!

That arrow is pointing to the heartbeat.

As many of you know....Nikelle is going to be a big sister. YAY! I'm so glad that we decided to try for another cute kid, and grateful that it happened. Now comes the hard part. I really do not care for being pregnant. So, with my happy announcement I'm going to put the things I like/dislike about being pregnant. I might have to start a weekly pity party blog just for me. So, if you like to just hear the happy news skip the negatives and read the positives or don't go on much further.....yes it's one of those days!

Anywho....lets start with the negatives:

-being sick: I know I don't have it as bad as others, but I hate it!
-having crabby moments and not knowing why.
-having my two year old know that she can get away with things because mommy is not feeling well.....aka: potty training!
-waking up 50 times at night and I'm only 7 weeks???
-Not being able to eat regularly. Nothing sounds good....and you know what I mean?
-getting fatter: although I prefer this to the sickness
-remembering to take vitamins: I hate taking pills..it just bugs me.
-being stressed about how I'm going to do at work: I was already in tears at the doctors office because of it.
-Missing swimming everyday: my suit kinda is not fitting very well.
-My house is a mess (except the toilets..read below)
-Missing work....I hate that!

Well...that might be enough of the negatives I'll come up with some more.

Now, the happy thoughts!

-being pregnant in the winter (maybe I won't blow up too bad)
-I'll be able to wear sweatshirts to hide my extra fattyness.
-being able to have another baby: I know there are so many that can't. I'm grateful just crabby.
-Talking to Nikelle about what to name the baby (nacho is what she came up with)
-Feeling the baby kick (I've kinda gotten over it. I still think it's strange, but it grosses so many people out...kinda entertaining)
-buying new clothes
-My toilets get cleaned daily instead of once a week.
-Going to my doctor appointments to check on the little one.

Well...I think that might do for tonight. I guess I'm just having a bad day, and tomorrow will be better. I just needed to let it out. I'm really try to stay positive with this one and know that things will get better. It's just trying to get up each day and tell myself that. I wish I had a magic fairy for those days that I just can't get it all done. I know the potty training will come and my house will get cleaned...I just worked so hard! I guess one thing I have to look forward to is I only have 33 weeks to go....ugh!

Goodbye.....

Goodbye to my good friend...Jetta...the car! We finally sold my car that I dreamed of getting. I remember when we found that car, I was beyond happy. The lights inside were purple and red. I loved that it had a sunroof. It was just what I wanted. It was the first car I owned. We had it payed off for a few years even though we had to pay for many costly repairs......We just knew that it was time for us to get rid of it and find a new car. Now, we are looking for a new car, so I drive the truck (eeek) and Nik is driving his jeep. I keep waiting for a phone call saying hes stuck somewhere, but it's the jeep. I hope my car enjoys her new home, I know I will miss it!

Magic Trick

Since my plan is to turn my blog into a book. I thought I would do videos in seperate posts. Cause you know we aren't wizards **haha** and our pictures don't move. But, this is pretty cute of Nelle....well I say so.

Hopefully it works. enjoy!

June

This post contains a lot of pictures. Our computer broke in May and so I have not been able to blog. But, here I am. Instead of doing a lot of little posts I thought I would do one about June. June has been so much fun. I spent the first part of my vacation cleaning my house. Then I have spent as much time as I can with Nikelle. She is getting so big. She loves to play dress up, especially with her cousin Anni. They have so much fun with the tutu's and shoes. Nelle has also been into performing magic acts (I will post in another post). She loves to have her pictures taken. We are also working on potty training. Hopefully, by the time I get back to work she will have it down. Nikelle has also formed this thing where all she wants to wear is dresses. So, each day she picks out her dress to wear. I was so glad that the middle of June got nice so we could start going to the pool. She loves to swim. Summer break goes by too fast!

She loves her trampoline.

Nik turned the big 30!

Nik turned the big 30 this year. Anyone who knows Nik well, knows that he loves Mcdonalds. We had a surprise birthday party at Mcdonalds featuring Transformers. He was super excited for Transformers because it came out the night of his birthday. So, that Tuesday night we went and saw the midnight showing, and it was so much fun. Nelle was super excited for her dad's birthday. She even went and told him things that we were doing, and I had to play dumb. He said he never could figure out why she was talking about a Transformer cake. Nik got to enjoy a day golfing with his dad and brother while we got everything together. I do have to say, that for once he had no idea what I was doing. YAY!

Thanks to everyone that came!

Overwelming update!!

Happy Easter!!

I thought I would start my large update with Easter pictures. This might make me feel like I have been keeping up. Well, I made a goal to try to update at least once a week....so here it goes. I have all these pictures and frankly just get to lazy to walk in the computer room and wait for my computer to read the pictures. I really miss my laptop! But, anyways!!

Easter was fun. Nikelle is getting to where she understands things and loves waking up to things. She carries on conversations about things and here lately we have had to have her slow down, because she tries to spill to much out at once. She loved to gather the eggs, and thought the Easter Bunny was silly to hide her eggs in the house. We also had to tell her the bunny ate some, because there was 3 missing, and she was very concerned. I really love my little girl and I hope that she had a great Easter...We like to say she did!

Here is a priceless moment.....Last year her dad taught the kids how to make a hat out of Mcdonald happy meal boxes. Nelle gets real excited when they give her a box (yes, she gets a donald day) Well, she had to go show her dad, and then pose for pictures. These are the days we will cherish!
